Go White Sox!!!!!!! They did it!!!!!!! Now onto the next round.

Fall is here! It feels great!!!!!! This cool weather is exactly what I needed to perk me up. I went out and filled my bird feeders (and squirrel feeders) so I can sit back and enjoy the view. This morning I saw a Hawk and it seemed like he was checking out the visitors to my feeder - could that be possible? I tried to get a picture but he was gone before I could get the camera out. Now that would have been a cool picture.

One week to the Quilt Show. I'm still working on labels and that's OKAY! I realized that I could have added about 4 more itmes to the show but they just turned up with in the last week so it was too late. That's OKAY I will save them till the next show - LOL! (I say that every quilt show.) I will be hosting and doing demos at this show so it should be fun. Kathy is a featured artist at this show. Fun!!!!!

Still thinking about adding another four footed friend to my family. I keep checking out the local shelters but by the time I get there the little dog is gone.
If it's meant to be then the little dog will be there. I always feel good when I know that the dog went to a good home instead of just sitting in the kennel - WAITING.

I am still watching the HSUS website for the hurricane rescue stories. They are all so heartbreaking and with each one you keep hearing over and over "I'll never leave my dog alone again!" The anguish the people must have felt thinking they would be gone for a day or two only to have it turn into weeks. The human stories all share their own unique tragedy but the animals have no voice as they wait for an owner to return!
