I am also continuing to keep up to date on my Thimbleberries BOM. I finished putting the borders on my Slash Your Stash quilt. And here it is - don't you love the double pink border! It's all done in a feedsack packet I found when I cleaned out my sewing room. I just cut the borders on my re-designed Delectable Mountains quilt and I'm exploring a new quilting road called Postcard Quilts. Now I can meld my two favorite hobbies - stamping and quilting ! Here's a picture of my first
postcard but not my last! LOL When I first discovered that I could put the two together my mind just exploded with ideas! I'm also showing off my purple quilt. It's simple and you can personalize the center part with whatever fabric you can find. You can al
so make it bigger or smaller! Isn't that great - I found the sample at Stitches and Stuffing in Naperville, Illinois. Notice I used big rick-rack (loving it) and the light purple is chennille. My friend, who machine-quilted it, went in and out of the chennille rows - pretty cool!Keep sewing!
