It's finally happened - I'm at a point where I can't keep track of all the wonderful things I've been doing this summer - Sox game, Stampin' Up parties, museum tours, quilting trips! And now add this to the list, today I went to see the stage play Wicked! I'm not a wild fan of the Wizard of Oz (like it but not nuts about it) so I didn't know if I'd like the play but I did - it was GRAND! The costumes were very beautiful. The singing superb. My two favorite parts - the Defying Gravity song with special effects and the "Wicked Witch's"cool laugh.
Before the play we had a fantastic lunch at the Renaissance Hotel, which was around the corner from the theater. After the play we shopped at Borders and then went to Garrett's for popcorn. Weather was beautiful, a perfect day for a ride along the lake front.
A good time was had by all!
