It has been raining hard here in Chicago but about an hour ago the sun came out! I don't think the sunshine will last. My new garden is loving this weather and Molly has even found a new game to play as we walk through the neighborhood. She follows the rivers of water at the edges of the gutter and then hunts for the bubbles that appear from the rain plops. It is the funniest thing to watch because she really gets into it. She will paw at the mud and try to stir things up then she lunges onto the bubble! Mind you, we are walking in pouring rain and I have on rain gear that is much too hot for this time of year while Molly is wearing her red raincoat! We look very sharp! I am going to try and get video of this new game because it is a treasure! Molly looks like a fox pouncing on it's prey! She is being very primal!
NO race yesterday! NO race today! What's a fan to do? I watched a tape of the Prelude to the Chase - got to watch Carl win again!
