The quilt show is over! I thought it was a great event. The quilts were wonderful. The featured artist, Jackie Buss, was spectacular! The venue was perfect - it made you feel like you were at a Quilt Show! However the vendors were just so so. (I only bought one thing, a "Doggie in the Window" panel.)

All my quilts had bindings, that's a good thing 'cause I didn't think it would happen. (I was sick in bed the Tuesday and Wednesday before the show.) I ended up with 8 quilts in the show. I thought they looked good.

We all missed Moe! She couldn't come to the show because she wasn't feeling too good!

I could only attend the show on Sunday because I had a wedding reception to go to on Saturday. The reception turned out to be a lot of fun - lots more than I thought it would.

Geri and I also started the favors for her first grandchild's baby shower! This should be televised. The show would be called "Martha Stewart - Not". It took us one hour to do ONE favor - and that wasn't because they were hard - it was because we were laughing so hard at trying to cut a tiny fabric circle. We kept arguing and discussing what size circle to cut!

The weekend flew by ...... Tiny bits of NASCAR here and there - it's weekends like this when I wish I had Tivo!
