What a great way to begin the new month! The quilting group decided to go downtown to see the quilt exhibit at the Chicago Historical Museum. The show was tiny but definitely worth a "look-see"! We could not take pictures - we sure wish we did! The gift shop did not have a book on the quilts - they should! We all tried to memorize the quilts!
Came home in the first snow storm of the winter season - a 45 minute trip became 2 hours! The ice was treacherous. As bad as it was it got worse later when I went to church. I literally slide out of my car and into one of my old first graders. She saved me and helped me get into the building!
