Easter Sunday - spent with my family. Laughing, retelling memories and sharing good food! It doesn't get better than that.
Did something last night that I've never done in 58 years of living ....... went to the Easter Vigil at my church - and it was all because of my dogs - God DOES work in mysterious ways!
How did it come about? Saturday night I thought long and hard about how to manage two dogs and go to an early Sunday morning mass. I can't sneak out like I could with just Molly. (Tony will see me go out to the garage.) So I decided to go to the Easter Vigil. My parish did such a beautiful job with this liturgy - why weren't more people here? I wanted more people to experience the joy of being Catholic because, let's face it, how often does that happen? Check out the news! Lately = never.
I also went to a Thursday night (11:30PM) prayer service. And again I experienced the incredible beauty of a Catholic prayer experience that is based on a rich tradition.
This Easter experience enriched and recharged my soul.
