Guess what - I've got a blooming perennial in my garden! The chipmunks are eating some but some of the new plants are thriving. I'm going to add more when the weather is cooler or the sales become abundant!
I am sewing like a mad woman! Last night, at guild, I trimmed 6 big quilts so I can start the bindings! It was a job! This morning I sewed the binding onto one of the big quilts because then I can sit downstairs at night and hand sew. My usual schedule is machine sewing during daylight and hand sewing at night. I have completed the Nantucket Cottage Blanket that I purchased on a bus trip at the shop in Spring Green Wisc. I also bound my Geranium quilt that was an Edyta pattern. My next plan is to take two holiday cheater panels , use one holiday for the front and a different holiday for the back and then quilt them ! Doesn't that sound like a good plan?
Molly went to guild with me last night! She loves it now because when we pulled up she was crying to get out and then once out of the car she ran down the steps. She was a little disappointed because we were the first ones there! Here's an odd little thing that Molly does - she won't sit by Geri and me, she sits on the other side of the room with the other ladies but never takes her eyes off of us! At one point I thought she had to go out so I called to her with the leash in my hand, she immediately walked over to a gaggle of ladies and sat under the table with them so I couldn't take her out! She kept peeking out from between the ladies, all the while the ladies were petting her and stroking her little head!
