The holiday weekend was great even though I forgot my sunscreen on a long dog walk and ended up with a really BAD sunburn. That was very stupid of me! It has been years since I coped with a bad burn - remember when we used to get them all the time and nobody thought anything about it - so I spent part of the holiday giving myself first aid. My dog thought I looked pretty odd with cold wash rags hanging off my arms. She was an excellent nurse. She stayed right with me - telling me encouraging things! Molly speaks with her eyes so I have to be a good listener!
I finished my Garden Kit from Prairie Star. It turned out to be more adorable than the picture! I wanted to take it along for Show &Tell at a 4th of July party but I forgot it!
I did go to a wonderful fireworks show! They got it all in before the rain rolled in! Wonderful show!
