It's been fun-filled week - celebrated a best friend's birthday by sharing dinner and then shopping at Target! Also.....NASCAR is in Chicago this weekend so I got into the spirit by going to the local car displays and taking tons of pictures of Molly and the cars. Part of the plan was to get a driver autograph on her checkered scarf but the weather was so hot that Molly said "No Way!"
Bought the backing for the Old Tyme Garden quilt kit. It is a soft yellow print flannel - perfect! Also picked out my bindings for my Blueberry Pie quilt and my Courthouse Steps quilt. I even got to the half way point on Month 8 of the L&C quilt. I thought I needed a little more motivation on this quilt so I've been listening to a 2 CD set on the travels of L&C. I felt like I was part of the Corps!
