I've been at work all day - if you can call it work - I just finished reading Heart of a Soldier:a story of love, heroism, and September 11, 2001 by James B. Stewart- what an overwhelming book with a simple story! What brave people! Both Rick Rescorla and Dan Hill were giant sized characters! You must read this book! I read another 9/11 biography - John O'Neill (the Man Who Warned America by Murray Weiss) - and I thought I felt emotional after that book but Heart of a Soldier really left me stunned over the courage displayed by Mr. Rescorla.
Whenever I read books like this I always wonder what I would have done in the same circumstance. You'd like to think that you'd pick the path they chose but this book makes me stop ..... and wonder...... how could anyone else be so brave!
