Birds at my feeder!

I love to feed the birds and then sit at my dining room table and just watch them. It is such a relaxing hobby and very user friendly.

I usually like to add something special,at my birthday each year, as a way to upgrade the watching. One of my best investments was a heated bird bath. I plug it in when the weather starts to get chilly and the birds just flock to it with their little towels at the ready! It is especially nice when the snow falls and everything is covered in white except my little island oasis. This year I've upgraded to seed purchased in bulk and stored - of course, by my favorite shop - Wild Birds Unlimited. I've also trying to do a hummingbird feeder but that doesn't seem to be as successful but my understanding is that you need patience to attract them because they don't naturally go to feeders.
