One more day to Molly's birthday!

Today I made up for the "lethargy that was upon me" for the last three days! Up at 7am fed the dog, started doing laundry - WHAT'S COME OVER ME! Ate breakfast, read the paper, took dog for a walk, did 2 more loads of laundry! Then.... I.... went IN to the SEWING ROOM!!!!!!! and I SEWED the 2 April blocks for the Thimbelberries quilt and trimmed a lap quilt (for my Aunt Marge) so I can start the binding. Then I CLEANED my sewing room, actually I did some cleaning and some rearranging of fabric piles. While I watched Perry Mason, listened to Cathy and Judy, did 2 more loads of wash. Then I put Molly in the car and off we went to Wild Birds Unlimited to replenish the bird seed with a quick stop at ACE for an expanding gate, oh, I also stopped for lunch..... needless to say - I'm back, Baby!

The blocks came out great. I'm always amazed because at certain stages they really look terrible. I keep telling myself that finished is better than in a box.

The lap quilt looks super! I will definitely need to put a picture on this blog to show it off. It is so simple but it looks great. I decided to put some extra pizzazz in the border by using a light green cotton rick rack all the way around!

I bought a Hummingbird feeder at WBU. According to the web they should be migrating into my area - wouldn't that make for some great pic's!

No trips to shelters today! No naps!
